Laura began her career in jewelry in 1984 with Tiffany & Co. and after five years as a buyer in their New York offices, she opened Laura Pearce, Ltd. in 1989. Since then, Laura's Atlanta based boutique has earned an discerning reputation for offering the South's most extensive collection of classic fine and estate jewelry. While a buyer for Tiffany's, Laura established relationships with the world's most exclusive jewelry sources and for nearly two decades has offered her clientele the same level of high quality jewelry at a fraction of the cost. Superior quality, reasonable prices and outstanding customer service are the cornerstones upon which Laura Pearce, Ltd. was built.
Laura's impeccable taste as well as superb attention to detail has established Laura Pearce Ltd. as the South's premiere jeweler for rare, antique, custom and classic fine jewelry. Laura has been distinguished nationally and she is regularly featured in Veranda and Southern Accents, and has previously been named by Town & Country as one of the most "Notable Women in Antique Jewelry" in the United States.
Laura is a breast cancer survivor and strongly believes in giving back to the community. Laura Pearce, Ltd. gives generously to a number of local and national charitable organizations including Autism Speaks, the Atlanta Speech School, the Fernbank Museum, the Cathedral of St. Phillip Preschool, the Atlanta Ballet, the Atlanta Opera, Meals on Wheels, the Forward Arts Foundation, the Atlanta Historical Society and the Shepherd Spinal Center as well as various other children’s charities in addition to those focused on cancer research.
Laura is a graduate of Hollins College in Virginia and has studied at the Gemological Institute of America.
